July 7 - July 18 at Cal Poly State University, Crop Science Building Who? K-12 Teachers. Limited space. Applicants from Guadalupe Union School District, Santa Maria-Bonita SD and schools with high ELL student population will receive first priority. New and experienced teachers are welcome. |

A 5-day summer science institute at Cal Poly with 40 hrs follow-up meetings,
and 40 hrs on-site during the 2002-02 academic year. Theme: Growing in Language and Science using the School Garden, science and language development standards, the new frameworks, and your school adopted instructional materials. When: July 30-Aug 3 at Cal Poly State Univ. follow-ups on Saturdays during the 2001-02 year Who? K-12 teachers. Limited space. Applicants with high ELL students recieve priority. Teams of 5-10 per school preferred. |
